Passive fire protection and fire safety

Stenca Penetration Seal has been developed and tested to meet the very latest industry standards, and has achieved high levels of performance to meet the tough requirements in hydrocarbon fire hazard environments.

The penetration seal is made from ceramic and glass cloths/blankets and high grade stainless steel in order to provide protection against harsh environments such as those experienced offshore.

Stenca Penetration Seal has an elastomeric membrane coating which under fire conditions has been proved to be totally innocuous. The seal accommodates requirement of A0/H0 A60/H60 H120 J30/J60 and J120.

Is manufactured with strict quality control procedures and practices, in accordance with requirements of ISO 9001.

Throughout testing, Stenca Penetration Seal has maintained its integrity, stability and insulation properties and accordingly carry certification issued by either Lloyds or DNV.

Accommodate movements of up to 25mm in any direction. However, Stenca Penetration Seal can be constructed to meet higher needs. Please contact us for further information.

Stenca Penetration Seal protects from a fire hazard on the same side of the bulkhead or deck as where the seal is placed. If a fire hazard exists on both sides we recommend using a double sided seal. Nevertheless, the single sided seal can be custom made with hot face material on both inner and outer side of the seal if necessary.

Stenca Penetration Seal is supplied with fitting instructions, adhesive and stainless steel clips for fast and easy installation.
