Stenca flange and valve mattress
Stenca mattress is the perfect, reliable and flexible solution for valves and flanges under the most arduous operating conditions.It is often this lack of isolation that causes a considerable heat loss and energy wastage. There are many different types of ceramic cloth for the surfaces, so the mattress can be adjusted 100 % for the specific task, e.g. they are oil resistant, withstands extreme temperatures (up to 1100° C).
The filling for the mattresses consist of ceramic insulation material. Depending on space and temperature conditions the mattresses can be made in thickness from 40 mm to 200 mm. Insulation mattress are fastened by Velcro and afterwards with straps with buckles.
Insulation mattress is extremely flexible and its big advantage it can easily be removed and reinstalled when the need arises.
They are suitable for thermal or acoustic insulation in places where transported liquids at high temperatures or steam f.ex.in production rooms, heating stations, ships or drilling platforms.
